Health Infographic
An infographic designed during the Visualizing Marathon in New Delhi, 2012, organized by Visualizing.org (teammates: Akshan Ish & Shreya Chakravarty).
The challenge was to visualize the impact of heart disease in India, aided by a data set of statistics from the World Health Organization and The Earth Institute.
The objective was to show why India should care about the crisis in cardiovascular health, and to surface new insights to help drive new solutions.
After going through the data, we chalked out information that should be presented by asking ourselves what the reader would want to know from the infographic.
